Do it Yourself (DiY) Tours

Not everyone is inclined to sign up to organised tours and prefer to ride alone or in their own smaller groups. It makes sense to us at Riders Rest where we can see the value in both Organised and DiY touring.

Here at Riders Rest we have compiled a comprehensive list of Routes using Riders Rest as a Base.  Using our experience of riding the roads in the region we have produced an E-Book with the detailed routes, coffee stops, fuel stops, lunch stops, places to see and park. To such places as:

  Auvergne Volcano Parc Rocamadour
  Mount Dore Brantome
Collonges la Rouge Gorges du Dordogne
  Oradour Sur Glane Millau Viaduct
  Pure Twisties Turenne
Route Richard the Lion Heart Les Eyzes
  Cahors Sarlat le Canada
And a Motorcycle orienteering day for those who like a bit of fun..

The E-Book has turn by turn directions for those who prefer paper and download links to satellite navigation files for those who use Garmin (Mapsource) and Tom Tom (Itinery Files) or if you would just like to see the sites using Google Earth to plan their routes you will find them all in this E-Book.

Our E-Book of Diy Tours is free to download when you book on our "Comfort Tariff" or available to purchase on-line It is an A4 PDF file...
